Explaining the concept behind ‘Makers Space’ Hilldaari’s Head Arvind Shukla tells us, “In Association with Vidhyalay Udhyam from Maharashtra and Recity Network, Makers Space will be a place, in this case a class room, where we will train young students to up-cycle waste cloth to make useful items.”

Abhilash and his team of eight interns from Vidhyalay Udhyam will facilitate training sessions in these Makers Space, by imparting skills of recycling and refurbishing waste cloth  by turning them into daily, useful household products such as shopping bags, mobile bags etc. Adding more, Abhilash tells us, “Maker Space is a space where children can make their imagination come alive with their creativity. We would like to guide and assist young minds so that they can make useful items from waste centric collection and sustain themselves and their families in the future, if the need arise.”
