Dateline Delhi: Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Minister for Petroleum launched Dasham – the logo of the tenth edition of Valley of Words Literature ans Art festival a.k.a VoW, its website and the announcement of nomination for VBA Book Awards, 2026. Mr. Puri complimented the leadership team of VoW in curating a comprehensive pan India festival of literature and arts. Celebrating ten years of literary excellence, Valley of Words presented DASHAM, its Decennial Logo, launched by Hon’ble Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri.

A presentation on Dasham was made by Sanjeev Chopra, Festival Director, VoW. One of the key features of VoW 2026 edition is the focus on TEN. Thus the plays at Iti Natya are on Dash Avtara, the Dasham Granth – the text of the writings of Guru Gobind Singh will feature as a Keynote session. The impact of Ten Commandments in shaping the history of humankind, as well as the ten Paramitas of Buddhism will also be discussed.
The VoX populi will feature the Tenth schedule on anti defection legislation, and the Military History section will recall the Goa operations as it may be added that Goa was incorporated into the Indian Union through the tenth constitutional amendment.
The Minister presented a copy of his book Perilous Interventions: Security Council and the Politics of Chaos to all the members present on the occasion.
